BCIA Certification in neurofeedback – in process

Kathleen Stell

For over 25 years I was a professional training designer, developer and trainer. I “trained” adults in business, industry, and the government.  Now, I help our clients “train” their brains – not what I expected to be doing in my “golden” years!

I earned this white hair the hard way – over a long period of time – but my years of training design and development forced me to keep exploring new ideas and learning new skills so that I could deliver quality training for my customers.  Neurofeedback is an exciting new “training” that caught my attention and as Jack and I learned more we were excited to add it to our suite of therapeutic solutions.

I don’t have all of the degrees and licenses that provided Jack with a string of “alphabet soup” behind his name.  However, for the past 2 years I have aggressively pursued certification as a Neurofeedback Technician under the auspices of the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) – the international certifying organization for both biofeedback and neurofeedback (Yeah, Jack is getting certified too as a Neurofeedback Clinician and we review scans and develop the protocols together – we manage to do most everything together).

When not working here at Brain Healing doing neurofeedback or functioning as practice manager I try to keep track of my 4 children/stepchildren and 11 grandchildren ranging in age from 2 years to 25 years – Yikes!  Don’t get me started but family history and genealogy research are my hobby and I love talking with others – be warned.
