When you first walk into the Brain Healing office you’ll likely find me behind the front desk – probably scheduling clients, answering questions, processing/scanning forms, processing payments and filing insurance claims. I really enjoy that part of my role in making Brain Healing a success.
After I finished two previous careers – the U. S. Air Force as well as the U.S. Post Office I went back to school and got a degree in Career Guidance and Counseling with a focus on college guidance counseling. One day a week I use those skills to help our clients, particularly veterans who are returning to school, to figure out what they want to do with the rest of their lives and how to go about doing it.
Through my two previous careers I gained IT knowledge and experience so I am able to keep the high-tech solutions we employ here at Brain Healing humming. Our neurofeedback software is amazing and so is the new wireless dry eeg cap we are using. However, high-tech can often be high maintenance so work here is never boring.
My “Charlie of all trades” position is one that I totally enjoy – and I even get paid! When I’m not at work I’m often out on my boat on a local lake or river with my wife of 22 years, Sherrie, or enjoying my life as a father/stepfather of 4 and grandfather of 1.
